"Bhakti Jam"
Mondays
4:00 - 5:30pm
This month we have started offering a new – and ancient – way to practice Yoga… in the form of a weekly Bhakti Jam! Mondays from 4:00 to 5:30 are now dedicated to co-creating informal kirtans (spirit-driven, group singing), as we sing, play our favorite instruments, teach each other new chants, and generally lift our hearts and voices in joy. Whether you know you love kirtan or are just curious, whether you want to sing, play, clap, sway or simply bask in the experience, come to encourage and to be encouraged by this fun and uplifting special Yoga practice. Everyone is invited, independent of musical expertise!
Your "Bhakti Jam" donations will support Saving Animals During Disasters, savinganimalsduringdisasters.org
They are planning a Mardi Gras for Paws on Fat Tuesday on Feb. 21st. 7-11pm at Harbour Masters Restaurant in Carolina Beach, $25 per person (cajun food, entertainment, silent auction, "Harmony Yoga classes," cash bar, tax deductible donations accepted).
